Conservation and Extinction
Conservation is the care and protection of Earth’s natural resources so that they can stick around for future generations. Earth’s natural resources include air, minerals, plants, soil, water, and wildlife. It also includes maintaining the wide range of species, communities, and ecosystems, as well as caring for the environment. Conservation is quite a bit similar to preservation. They both relate to the protection of nature, however they are different in the ways they accomplish it. Conservation is more about the sustainable use of nature by humans and preservation is protecting nature from humans.
