Conservation

 Matheus Storck Paúra

There are many natural resources on earth, such as air, soil, plants, minerals, water and wildlife. Conservation is the protection and care of these resources for everyone today and in the future. The search for the sustainable use of nature by man, for activities such as hunting, logging or mining, while preservation means protecting nature from human use. However, due to the large population growth these resources are increasing at rates and making them unsustainable, thus leading to loss of biodiversity which destroys the habitat of other beings, climate changes, outbreaks. The extinction of species is related to the decline of biodiversity.

Conservation practices and policies - ranging from the removal of invasive species, a reserve of protected land for wildlife and plants, to the establishment of the US Endangered Species Act (ESA) - have been put into practice to combat these pressures of conservation. extinction. Thousands of species are at risk of extinction, despite conservation efforts likely many species will be gone in the next few years.

  1. I also had the topic of conservation. I found it crazy that many of the reasons that some of these animals are losing their habitats because of humans. I felt like you did a great job explaining the dangers and the reasons why this is happing.

  2. Very good job on your blog. I found it appealing that you had explained what conservation is and the mission of ESA. I think that people need to speak about this more as the loss of animals can impact our environment very soon.

  3. Your blog is very interesting. I like it because you explain what means conservation through the mission of ESA. It’s a topic important in our life and we must be careful.

  4. I really enjoyed reading your blog and I like how you explained what the cause of extinction could be. I never realized how much biodiversity affects extinction. I also liked how you gave a solution to the problem. Although the solution may not be able to save all species I think it is good that we are at least trying to combat the problem. I also liked how you put a picture because that shows some of the cute animals we could lose to this problem.
