Agricultural must change

 



We has a human race have had some tuff times in the world but not has bad as what wE are facing when it comes to climate change. The times that’s we are facing about this new change can effectively hurt the way we eat,sleep,and live our life’s for many years to come. There have been a lot warning sign that say we need to change the way we treat our world. There are many great ideas to help fix the problem but they lead make to use getting them started and us work on them. That’s one of the things we need to work on is following through with our promises that we make. We have all the opportunities to help fix our world and make it a better place for environment to grow.



Humans must drastically alter food production to prevent the most catastrophic effects of global warming, according to a new report from the United Nations panel on climate change.

The panel of scientists looked at the climate change effects of agriculture, deforestation and other land use, such as harvesting peat and managing grasslands and wetlands. Together, those activities generate about a third of human greenhouse gas emissions, including more than 40% of methane.

    Very interesting blog. I don’t know much about agriculture but the topic that you summarized seems very interesting and extremely important for us and the environment. Looking further into this, you are right, there are several ways for us the fix and change this.

Energy: Hydropower Pros and Cons

 Hydropower is not often talked about as a primary option for sustainable energy, however, 6.6% of energy produced in the U.S. is through hydropower, compared to solar energy which happens to only be 2.3% and is usually the first thought when someone mentions “clean energy.” The reason for this being the majority hydropower plants only give energy to large-scale, industrial operations.  Hydropower boasts a few positives that make it a viable option, those being that it is reliable, safe, and produces a very low amount of emissions. Other than that, they are fairly expensive to build, and they have a very realistic potential to cause droughts.
