Cocaine and Deforestation

We all know the effects cocaine has on our bodies, but did you know it effects our earth as well. Cocaine plants in Columbia are ruining the plantations in the land. These plantains are sprayed with a highly concentrated chemicals and due to that the coco plants in Columbia were destroyed. With these plants being destroyed it is increasing the rate of deforestation. The producers of cocaine also use the leafs from these dying trees in under ground labs to make more cocaine.
