Conservation success

 In the link I provided below there are many successful conservation stories. Some of these animals I had no clue have ever been endangered and was a surprise for me. These include animals as the bald eagle, the swift fox, a type of black bear and even the gecko. These are all common animals as of today and this would’ve never happened if it wasn’t for the right program to save these animals.     This was very interesting in my opinion to read because I as well did not know that some of those animals were endangered and some of the animals I didn't even know existed at all.

    This really opened my eyes about animal endangerment. I knew it was bad but I did not know it was as bad as it truly is until reading this.

Energy: Hydropower Pros and Cons

 Hydropower is not often talked about as a primary option for sustainable energy, however, 6.6% of energy produced in the U.S. is through hydropower, compared to solar energy which happens to only be 2.3% and is usually the first thought when someone mentions “clean energy.” The reason for this being the majority hydropower plants only give energy to large-scale, industrial operations.  Hydropower boasts a few positives that make it a viable option, those being that it is reliable, safe, and produces a very low amount of emissions. Other than that, they are fairly expensive to build, and they have a very realistic potential to cause droughts.
