In this article it talks about the new ways we are using Technology to farm in our shrinking world. They called it a shrinking world because our technology is getting even better and better. Anyways going into the article there is a graph and a description of the burgeoning population of the globe. After it talk about this problem it gets into how this can help our food problem and how we are on our way to a new type of farming. It ends off with them giving numbers on there work with BI intelligence and how much money they made in 2020 and what they are projected to make in 2050.

    It seems so crazy how much technology we are using now a days. A lot of farmers are older people so you can’t imagine all the technology they have to figure out when they like to do it there old way. It definitely takes some getting used to.

    I liked your short blog. It got perfect points about how a digital farms can help farmers completely. I also think that it is going to take a while for this digital technology to get to the farmers working now because many don't know much about technology.

Energy: Hydropower Pros and Cons

 Hydropower is not often talked about as a primary option for sustainable energy, however, 6.6% of energy produced in the U.S. is through hydropower, compared to solar energy which happens to only be 2.3% and is usually the first thought when someone mentions “clean energy.” The reason for this being the majority hydropower plants only give energy to large-scale, industrial operations.  Hydropower boasts a few positives that make it a viable option, those being that it is reliable, safe, and produces a very low amount of emissions. Other than that, they are fairly expensive to build, and they have a very realistic potential to cause droughts.
