Energy: Advantages and Disadvantages of Electric Vehicles
Electric cars present themselves as a way to be much more environmentally friendly, compared to standard, gasoline-powered vehicles. The majority of citizens in the United States still drive gas-powered cars, and only a small percentage has moved towards the electric option. Because they are a relatively new idea, a lot of people are fairly uncertain about the pros and cons of operating an electric vehicle. The switch is subjective, but I think it would be a good option for people to at least consider switching to drive an electric car. The most significant factor, and the main reason that most people don’t make the switch is the initial cost. Yes, electric cars are a bit more expensive than the standard, gasoline models, but after the initial cost, maintenance is very cost efficient. The main reason a person would want to switch to an electric vehicle is because they are much more energy efficient. With that, they are easy to maintain, and they reduce CO2 emissions.

I like the article you chose to blog about. I think this is a great debate. This is something I think people should know more about. I think the Idea for electric cars is great but personally right nowI wouldn't get one. Later in the future I think I might if they come up with electric in other cars.
ReplyDeleteIt's an excellent post, I liked the way you present the differences, in my opinion people are looking the wrong way, electric cars are really more expensive, but besides you contributing to the environment with electric cars, in the future you You will also be saving gas money, as you said maintenance is much cheaper.
ReplyDeleteThis is an excellent article about a topic that is well known, but rarely discussed from this perspective. Many people know about electric cars and why they're a better alternative as compared to fossil fuel burning cars, but few know the perspective presented in this article.
