Energy: Wind Turbine Production
Previously, I have done a lot of discussions regarding the expansion of electric vehicle production, however there are many different types of renewable energy that can also reduce carbon dioxide emissions. Wind turbines have been around for a long time, and thousands are used all around the country to produce electricity for small communities, or large-scale, industrial complexes. Because a single wind turbine doesn’t produce enough electricity to sustain a single structure, multiple turbines are used, depending on how much power is required. Wind turbines do not release any emissions and they don’t require water for cooling. Thy work well in areas that get a lot of wind, however this cannot always be reliable, and may sway one’s decision to switch to wind energy. With that, a lot of turbines in a wind farm are required to produce enough energy. In theory, these structures sound great, however they can be unreliable if the weather doesn’t act in our favor. There are much better solutions, but wind turbines are still a decent option for reducing carbon dioxide emissions.
