Glaciers that are native to Iceland and other places such as Antarctica are melting. It is causing the sea levels to rise which is one of the largest threats. The glaciers that are melting are causing the sea levels to rise by 21% founded by scientist at Ohio State University. It is also found that glaciers have been melting quicker. Losing about 31% of snow and ice that should be lost 15 years from now.
I think that this a good topic to talk about because we all live on land and sea levels rising are not good things, because floods and other water storms destroy people’s homes and towns. I love that your article has pictures and videos proving what they are talking about. What do you think is causing the glaciers to melt at such a fast rate?
ReplyDeleteGlaciers melting is a topic that is being talked about a lot in class. And the article helped me out with the rising of the sea levels that are affecting the rate of the glaciers melting. Do you think there’s a way to slow down the rising of the sea levels, so the glaciers won’t melt as fast?
