Land Pollution

    In the world there is not a single piece of land that has not been impacted my pollution. They have been impacted my things such as deforestation, fires, waste, and many other things.  Every piece of land has had some sort of pollution on it. This is a very bad thing for our world. Littering is the main cause of land pollution. People do not think about how much they are affecting the land when they litter. When we have such bad pollution in the land it causes water to become unsafe to drink, pollution in the soils, the endangerment and extinction of wildlife, and many other things. The plus about all of this is we can do things to help, such as reformation, recycling, reducing the things we use, using less pesticides in agriculture, and many more.

    It's a excellent post, I agree with everything you said, we all have to be aware and help to contribute to damage our planet and also not kill these animals, especially those that are suffering from extinction.

Energy: Hydropower Pros and Cons

 Hydropower is not often talked about as a primary option for sustainable energy, however, 6.6% of energy produced in the U.S. is through hydropower, compared to solar energy which happens to only be 2.3% and is usually the first thought when someone mentions “clean energy.” The reason for this being the majority hydropower plants only give energy to large-scale, industrial operations.  Hydropower boasts a few positives that make it a viable option, those being that it is reliable, safe, and produces a very low amount of emissions. Other than that, they are fairly expensive to build, and they have a very realistic potential to cause droughts. It ends off with them giving numbers on there work with BI intelligence and how much money they made in 2020 and what they are projected to make in 2050.
