Marine Conservation
Matheus Storck
The ocean is a superpower on our planet, home to ecosystems in addition to covering 71% of our planet. Studies show that when ocean ecosystems are resilient, so are those close to them. A group of researchers analyzed more than one study to better understand the connection between marine protection and human and human health that most people derive the social, health, economic, governance and ecological benefits of a healthy ocean. But they are not guaranteed. But over the years this has all been disrupted by excessive use and pollution, thousands of marine mammals, seabirds and sea turtles are caught each year, along with tens of millions of sharks. Half of all coral reefs and mangroves are gone. WWF is trying to find solutions to fix broken global systems that lead to the decline of nature, while protecting the places that wildlife and people cannot live without.
I liked your blog, you talked about some very interesting information that I was very interested in reading. I didn't know that 71% are covered by ecosystems so I learned something today.
