There are many forms of conservation, and they are very important for our survival of our planet and important for our future. There are some ways of conservation that we can all contribute a little bit. Recycling is a popular and widely practiced method around the world by many industrial units. This is a process by which the useful life of the resource is extended by recycling or reusing it as input or output. This only applies to energy resources, as the use of a material as an energy resource results in its useless dissipation into the atmosphere.

Industrial waste and by-products can be profitably recycled. But, the profit-seeking company will make an attempt to recycle a product only when the cost of recycling is less than using “virgin” resource material. Furthermore, the differential cost between recycling and the use of virgin resources must remain for a very long period.
