The tiger : endangered species

 The tiger named Panthera Tigris is one of the most famous animal species. It has inspired many civilizations and is also found in films and cartoons. However this species is in danger of extinction. This article presents us this harmful phenomenon to force us to react. It is a different article from the others and that's why I chose it. Today in Asia, we count 3900. Whereas one century before there were 100 000 wild tigers. 

There is a presentation sheet of the tiger. We can see for example that a female weighs 170 kg against 300 kg for a male and that this species is present in Asia including China, India, Nepal or Russia

Tigers live in forests and are important to perpetuate the food chain and not create imbalance between species. Moreover, where there are tigers, tourists go. So this is important for the tourist economy. It is really necessary to preserve the tiger as well as all the endangered animals.

    I think that you did very good on this blog. You had a lot of important information in it. I did not realize that they were endangered. It is a very sad thing they they are because these animals are very beautiful, and not just they if they became extinct this would be a huge problem for the ecosystem they live in.

Energy: Hydropower Pros and Cons

 Hydropower is not often talked about as a primary option for sustainable energy, however, 6.6% of energy produced in the U.S. is through hydropower, compared to solar energy which happens to only be 2.3% and is usually the first thought when someone mentions “clean energy.” The reason for this being the majority hydropower plants only give energy to large-scale, industrial operations.  Hydropower boasts a few positives that make it a viable option, those being that it is reliable, safe, and produces a very low amount of emissions. Other than that, they are fairly expensive to build, and they have a very realistic potential to cause droughts.
