2050 Water Crisis

Kayla Karpe

By the year 2050 there will be a fight for water. It was found by the United Nations World Water Development report in 2018 that there will not be enough to go around. The reason that this is happening due to the increase of pollution in the bodies of water, the increasing amount of population and global warming issues. The way to help is through local decisions that through global decisions.

  1. This is kind of scary. To think if we don’t have water when we’re still alive is just scary. You can’t live without water obviously so if we keep running out of water we won’t have humanity anymore. That is so eye opening thank you.

  2. Kayla, thank you for your response I found it to be very true and enlightening. The differentiation that we can compare between deforestation and the overuse of different areas relating to agricultural resources is human exploitation and the negative side effects it has on the immediate area. certain areas like the Amazon rainforest are so negatively affected by human deforestation that their size has decreased by almost a third and their ecosystem population has been absolutely devastated.
