Conservation

Conservation has many parts to it. It involves protecting many of our natural resources that include air, minerals, plants, soil, water, and wildlife. There is a declining biodiversity that is intertwined with species extinction. As extinction is a normal part of nature. The rate it is happening now is not. They are around 1000 times higher than they should be. To read more about the extinction of animals such as the passenger pigeon and more about conservation click the link below.

  1. I think that this is important and that it should be talked about more. I thought that the article you have chosen was very informational and that it even gives you links to other articles or a map that shows where the extinctions are happening. I think that there needs to be studies done to see why the rate is so high and figure out how to lower that rate as well.

  2. I think this is an important topic to talk about. This is a huge problem in today's world and we need to protect wildlife before they all become extinct. I think you picked a good blog because it talks about species that need help so they don't become extinct forever. If we don't help we might extinct another mass extinction soon if we don't act up.

  5. This article was very informative about what’s happening with the wildlife, which I hear about this topic from time to time but never dove deep into it. This has been an ongoing problem in the world currently that we need to do something about the wildlife before it goes extinct.
