Energy: State incentives for solar power

One of the best things you could do in order to combat climate change is to invest in some form of green new energy. If you were in charge of a state or even had some national sway, and you wanted to help inspire the growth of green renewable energy how would you do?

I would recommend that you do what Illinois is doing right now; providing businesses and individuals tax or cost exhibitions as a couple of incentives. Proposals for programs like these are inspiring for green energy because it makes fiscal sense for people, who without these programs, would not probably be able to purchase solar or wind power. Illinois had temporarily discarded their program for reasons unknown within the state legislator.
