How does the holidays affect our land?

During the holidays, it is a time for celebration, a time to have fun with friends and family. But one thing we don't think about is how much paper we tend to use. A main holiday we use the most paper for is Christmas. But we also use a lot for the holidays where we just have a big gather of people, like Thanksgiving. Kala, I never really thought about the amount of paper it takes for presents to be wrapped. It shocked me that you even bring up thanksgiving because no one really think about the paper that is being used.
ReplyDeleteI really liked the information you presented in your blog post. That is a really interesting perspective but it completely makes sense that around holidays, the paper supply increases and causes negative effects to the land.
