German Waters in Crisis

 Kayla Karpe

A small German town has a group of fishermen that are experiencing a change in their waters. The three fishermen have been floating on these waters for almost thirty years. They have noticed that the waters are getting warmer. Usually, they collect small species that live in the ocean such as plankton or even jelly fish. If the water gets any warmer then the species may be going extinct in the German waters.

  1. This was a short but entertaining blog. It lead me to the article to where I could formulate my own opinion, while providing me with the bloggers semi-subjective viewpoint. While it only focused in on a small area in Germany, it is indictive and reflective of the the world as a whole. The heating of ice caps will prove to be absolutely disastrously in the near future.

  2. I liked this short blog. It was entertaining to read about but still had information. The only thing is that it only focused on 1 thing and not multiple things like the species and other parts of the water. Still it was a great blog to read.

  3. Even though your blog is short, I liked it because it was simple and straightforward, showing only the most important, seeing about these fishermen we have a clue that the world is really suffering from climate change, the point of the water being warmer does not affect the animals that go extinct but also the humans that are left without their source of income and food.

  4. I like your post because it is truly interesting. It is short but you said the essential’ information so I like it. You learn me something that I ignored. Indeed the story of the 3 fisherman, I didn’t know. Keep going like this.

  5. Like the others say: Short but entertaining blog.
I do feel like I am missing a little bit of information though I wouldn't know to be honest.

  6. I really liked your blog because it was short and straight to the point. You explained exactly what the problem is and what’s causing it. I like that you explained the most important information and didn’t put other information in there that could distract from the point you were making. I also like that you talked about how long they have been fishing in these waters for because that shows how much the water temperature has changed over the years.
