Land degradation, is it a problem?

You might be wondering what even is land degradation? Well so was I until I found out it is a process in which the value of the biophysical environment is affected by a combination of human-induced processes acting upon the land. Land degradation is a huge factor in our world that tend to not be talked about as much as it should be. So far globally the land is 25% degraded and if this trend continues 95% of the land can end up this way by 2050. Also globally about 3.2 billion people are affected by this, especially our farmers. Land degradation affects our soils carbon and nitrous oxide is released into the atmosphere, making land degradation one of the biggest factors to climate change. Read more about it and what we can do to help in the article below.
