Extinction
Matheus Storck
Extinction is increasingly an issue around the world and Australia is known as a country with the highest rates of endangered species of extinction. Recently the Australian government confirmed the extinction of 13 animals, 12 of them mammals and 1 reptile, is a very large number of species. Suzanne Milthorpe of the Wilderness Society said that “no other country, rich or poor, has anything like this record” for mammal extinctions. She said Haiti is next on the IUCN list in mammal extinctions, with a total of nine. This all just shows how close we are to a major disaster, this is all a reminder that if we don't take care of or if we don't preserve these animals more species will become extinct and eventually result in total extinction.
I liked your blog, Matheus. You talked about all the main points that was talked about and the major problems that has followed on that. The one thing is that you could have talked about more since in the website it has a ton of information in there. That is my only thing I would change.
ReplyDeleteThis extinction thing is real scary what we are doing to these animals is not a good thing. What we’re doing to this earth is a really bad thing we need to react quickly so we can fix this.
